Hardy Madther

Hardy was born about 1790 in Radcliffe.  Hardy's father was Richard Madther and his mother was Betty Siddal.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Madther and Betty (Elizabeth) Ripson. He had six brothers and a sister, named Martin, North, Jesse, Haide, Samuel, Hardy and Alice.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.  He died in May 1790 in Radcliffe.  He was buried on May 17th, 1790 in Radcliffe.¹
