Catherine Lomax

Catherine was born in 1820 in Breightmet and her baptism took place on May 28th, 1820 at St. Peter's (Bolton).^1 2

Catherine's father was Richard Lomax and her mother was Isabel (Isabella) Crompton.  Her paternal grandparents were George Lomax and Catherine Crompton. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Roger, George, James, John, Mary, Betty and Alice.  She was the oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 89 in March 1909 in Bolton.³
