Alice Lomax

Alice was born in 1828 in Breightmet.¹ Alice's father was Richard Lomax and her mother was Isabel (Isabella) Crompton. Her paternal grandparents were George Lomax and Catherine Crompton. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Roger, George, James, John, Catherine, Mary and Betty. She was the fifth oldest of the eight children.
