James Leyland 
James was born in 1888. James' father was Ralph Leyland and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Mather. His maternal grandparents were James Mather and Esther Pasquill (Pasquell). He had a brother and two sisters, named Denis, Ellen and Florence. He was the second oldest of the four children.-
