Job's father was William Lea and his mother was Catherine Sadler. His paternal grandparents were William Lea and Anne Kynaston. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Mary and Frances. He was the fourth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 18 in December 1858 in Great Boughton. His burial was on January 3rd, 1859 in Harthill.²
