Leah Lawrence

Leah was born in 1869 in Birkenhead.¹ Leah's father was Philip Hughes Lawrence and her mother was Mary Bennett. Her maternal grandparents were Jonathan Bennett and Mary Jones. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Philip, Thomas, Emily, Maria, Amelia, Mary, Lavinia and Flora. She was the eighth oldest of the nine children.
