Margaret's father was Joseph Patrick Kearney and her mother was Edith Priscilla Eaton. Her maternal grandparents were William Eaton and Priscilla Jellicoe. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, William, Jean, Nessie, Patricia and Lily. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 77 on May 13th, 2010 in the Wirral.²
