Richard Johnson

Richard was born on May 23rd, 1801 in Warrington and his baptism took place on February 25th, 1802 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Richard's father was Peter Jackson and his mother was Sally (Sarah) Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Henry Mather and Sarah Clare. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Henry, James, Peter, James, John, William, Martha, Sarah and Mary.  He was the third youngest of the ten children.
