James Jackson

James was born in December 1793 in Warrington and his baptism took place on January 3rd, 1794 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

James' father was Peter Jackson and his mother was Sally (Sarah) Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Henry Mather and Sarah Clare. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Peter, James, Richard, John, William, Martha, Sarah and Mary.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 2 in January 1796 in Warrington.  He was buried on January 5th, 1796 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹
