James Jackson

James was born in July 1797 in Warrington and his baptism took place on January 9th, 1798 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

James' father was Peter Jackson and his mother was Sally (Sarah) Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Henry Mather and Sarah Clare. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Henry, James, Peter, Richard, John, William, Martha, Sarah and Mary.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  He died at 11 months old in June 1798 in Warrington.  He was buried on June 21st, 1798 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹
