Mary's father was Albert Edward Jenkins and her mother was Elizabeth Banks. Her maternal grandparents were John Banks and Mary Higson. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Willie, Albert, Thomas, Ethel, Bertha and Elizabeth. She died at 6 months old in September 1907 in Bolton. Her burial was on September 14th, 1907.
