Marguerita Sarah James

Marguerita was born in 1908 in South Africa.¹

Marguerita's father was George Herbert James and her mother was Annie Hilton. Her maternal grandparents were John Hilton and Sarah Mather. She had two brothers and a sister, named George, Arthur and Leila. She was the youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 93 in 2001.

- Marguerita (or Marguerite) married John Gass (1905-1981). They had two daughters.
