Thomas Isherwood

Thomas was born in 1818 in Edgworth and his baptism took place on November 8th, 1818 at St. Anne (Turton).¹

Thomas' father was Ralph Isherwood and his mother was Jane (Jenny) Isherwood. His paternal grandparents were Henry Isherwood and Jane Holt; his maternal grandparents were William Isherwood and Margaret (Peggy) Haslam. He had three brothers and a sister, named Henry, James, Ralph and Mary. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 59 on December 31st, 1877 in Little Bolton. His burial was on January 4th, 1878 at St. Anne (Turton).²
