Henry Isherwood

Henry was born in January 1816 in Bradshaw and his baptism took place on February 4th, 1816 at St. Anne (Turton).¹

Henry's father was Ralph Isherwood and his mother was Jane (Jenny) Isherwood.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Isherwood and Jane Holt; his maternal grandparents were William Isherwood and Margaret (Peggy) Haslam. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, James, Ralph and Mary.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 24 in August 1840 in Edgworth.  He was buried on August 30th, 1840 at St. Anne (Turton).²
