Mary Isherwood

Mary was born in August 1821 in Edgworth and her baptism took place on September 4th, 1821 at St. Anne (Turton).¹

Mary's father was Ralph Isherwood and her mother was Jane (Jenny) Isherwood.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Isherwood and Jane Holt; her maternal grandparents were William Isherwood and Margaret (Peggy) Haslam. She had four brothers named Henry, Thomas, James and Ralph.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 18 in June 1840 in Edgworth.  She was buried on June 3rd, 1840 at St. Anne (Turton).²
