Deborah Isherwood

Deborah was born in August 1797 in Quarlton and her baptism took place on August 27th, 1797 at Turton Chapel.¹

Deborah's father was James Isherwood and her mother was Margaret (Peggy) Fairbrother. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Henry, Peter, Robert, James, Bennett, Mary, Anne, Betty, Alice and Peggy.  She was the youngest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 62 in January 1860 in Turton.  She was buried on January 27th, 1860 at St. Anne (Turton).¹
