Frederick's father was Richard Humphreys and his mother was Bella Hughes. His paternal grandparents were William Humphreys and Elizabeth Eddowes. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, George, Donald, Cyril, Myra and Malys. He died at the age of 75 in April 2004 in Wrexham. He was buried on April 7th, 2004 in Wrexham.¹²
