William was born in December 1921 in Wrexham.¹

Birth Notes

William's father was Richard Humphreys and his mother was Bella Hughes. His paternal grandparents were William Humphreys and Elizabeth Eddowes. He had four brothers and two sisters, named George, Donald, Frederick, Cyril, Myra and Malys. He died at the age of 22 on December 5th, 1943 in Burma.²
