Lawrence Howarth

Lawrence was born in March 1731 in Lower Darwen and her baptism took place on March 28th, 1731 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Blackburn).¹

Lawrence's father was Edmund Howarth and her mother was Catherine Pickering.  Her paternal grandparents were John Howarth and Ann Howard. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, William, Ann, Alice and Ann.  She was the third youngest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Edward, Jane and Mary.  She died at 10 months old in January 1732 in Lower Darwen.  She was buried on January 6th, 1732 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Blackburn).²
