Catherine Pickering

Catherine was born in 1693 in Lower Darwen and her baptism took place on June 7th, 1693 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Blackburn).¹

General Notes
- Catherine, daughter of William of Upper Darwen may have been young (i.e. aged only 10 to 12) when she married Edmund in 1714. This marriage occured before the modern-day marriage acts of 1694 and 1735 and later, so possible but unliokely.
  
  Catherine the daughter of Thomas of Lower Darwen, baptised 1693 is more likely.
