Margaret was born in 1771 in Malpas and her baptism took place on March 11th, 1771 at St. Oswalds (Malpas).1  Margaret's father was Charles Hopley and her mother was Mary Maddock. She had six brothers named John, Randle, Karel, Charles, Thomas and John.  She was the youngest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James and Sarah.  She died at the age of 65 in July 1836 in Malpas.  Her burial was on July 31st, 1836 at St. Oswalds (Malpas).1
