John Hopley

John was born in 1757.  John's father was Charles Hopley and his mother was Mary Maddock. He had five brothers and a sister, named Randle, Karel, Charles, Thomas, John and Margaret.  He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James and Sarah.  He died at the age of 2 in September 1759 in Malpas.  He was buried on September 20th, 1759 at St. Oswalds (Malpas).¹
