John Hopley

John was born in 1768 in Malpas and his baptism took place on July 20th, 1768 at St. Oswalds (Malpas).¹²

- John was an important man, a stay maker, married by licence although both were aged 24 (i.e. full age and of Malpas). He names his first son after his father.
