Catherine Hopley

Catherine was born in 1797 in Shocklach and her baptism took place there on June 25th, 1797.¹

Catherine's father was Charles Hopley and her mother was Mary Poovah. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Hopley and Catherine Lewis. She had a brother and four sisters, named Samuel, Elizabeth, Ann, Mary and Emma. She was the third oldest of the six children.

- Catherine Hopley was left £10 by her grandmother Catherine Hopley in 1810, but she is a minor. There must be anolther!
