Mary Holt

Mary was born in June 1838 in Turton.¹

Mary's father was John Holt and her mother was Sarah Halliwell. Her paternal grandparents were George Holt and Betty Bentley. She had a brother and two sisters, named John, Ellen and Esther. She was the third oldest of the four known children. She died at the age of 51 in October 1889 in Bolton.

General Notes
- 25 Sep 1859, Daniel Bromiley (22) a Cardroom Hand from Halliwell married Mary Holt, daughter of John Holt a Stonemason. Thomas Whitehead (bro-in-law) and Esther Holt (sister) were witness.
