Samuel Hargreaves (Mather)

Samuel was born in 1858 in Adlington.¹ Samuel's father was Nathan Mather and his mother was Martha Hargreaves. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Amy (Amey or Emy) Worsley. He was an only child.

- In April 1861, Samuel (2) and his mother Martha (before she married) were lodging with Marth's mother, also Martha Hargreaves.
