Birth Notes

Edward's father was Jethro Hamer and his mother was Martha Jane Mather. His maternal grandparents were Solomon Mather and Jane Scowcroft. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Walter, Jethro, Samuel, Jethro, Sarah, Ada, Alice, Rachel, Florence and Ethel. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.
