Henry Eddowes

Henry was born in 1841 in Gresford.¹

  There is no Wrexham birth record, but it also seems the early Wrexham GRO and 1841 census records are missing (as also there are no EDDOWES, JONES or THOMAS GRO records):

Henry's father was Thomas Eddowes and his mother was Martha Jones. His paternal grandparents were John Eddowes and Elizabeth Jones. He had five brothers and a sister, named William, Thomas, James, John, Charles and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the seven known children. He died at the age of 41 in December 1882 in West Derby. His burial was on December 22nd, 1882 in West Derby.
