George Eddowes

George was born in September 1850 in Wrexham.¹

George's father was George Eddowes and his mother was Mary Jones. His paternal grandparents were John Eddowes and Mary Whitfield. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Arthur, Edwin, Elizabeth and Emma. He was the oldest of the six children. He died before 1892.

- In 1851, Georgre (20) was boarding with Richard and Esther Brereton in Birkenhead.

- George was an acquaintance of Ann Hughes.
  - Relationship Notes
    - In 1878 it was alleged that Ann had an affair with George at the Wrexham Barracks.
  He lived with Esther Eddowes.
  - Relationship Notes
    - George (a nephew from Wrexham) was boarding with Esther Eddowes in 1871 and 1881 at 18 George St. Birkenhead. He was recorded as a boarder. However, George was also recorded with his parents George and Mary in 1871, so we could have two people here!
