Eric Doxey

Eric was born on April 27th, 1912 in Newton Heath.¹

Eric's father was John Henry Doxey and his mother was Lily Ann Marsland Fidler. His paternal grandparents were Henry Doxey and Mary Ann Dooley; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Marsland Fidler and Margaret Logan. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Harry, Albert, Laurie, Margaret, Agnes and Olive. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 86 in November 1998 in Oldham.²
