Albert was born on November 19th, 1913 in Newton Heath.¹

Birth Notes

Albert's father was John Henry Doxey and his mother was Lily Ann Marsland Fidler. His paternal grandparents were Henry Doxey and Mary Ann Dooley; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Marsland Fidler and Margaret Logan. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Harry, Eric, Laurie, Margaret, Agnes and Olive. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 65 in December 1978 in Blackpool.²
