Thomas was born in December 1815 in Broughton (Hawarden) and his baptism took place on December 31st, 1815 in Hawarden.¹

Birth Notes

Thomas' father was Samuel Davies and his mother was Jane Jones. His paternal grandparents were Edward Davies and Rachel Millington. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Edward, John, Samuel, George, William, Rachel, Jane and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
