Sarah Crosland

Sarah was born in 1765 in Berry Brow and her baptism took place on September 22nd, 1765 in Holmfirth.¹

Sarah's father was Jonathan Crosland and her mother was Betty Liversidge. Her paternal grandparents were John Crosland Jnr and Hanah Breadly. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, James, John, Charles, Mary and Martha. She was the oldest of the seven children.

General Notes
- There's Sarah daughter of Jonathan (this); d. of William of Royston, and d. of Joseph of Almondbury, and two from Birstall all baptised 1765-67, so impossible to expand family.
  
  However, if Daniel married at Almondbury, then probably so did Sarah to James Hirst in 1791. She may also have died a single woman, buried 16 Feb 1820 at Hiuddersfield, aged 56.
