Mary Crosland

Mary was born in 1767 in Berry Brow and her baptism took place on May 3rd, 1767 in Holmfirth.¹

Mary's father was Jonathan Crosland and her mother was Betty Liversidge. Her paternal grandparents were John Crosland Jnr and Hanah Breadly. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, James, John, Charles, Sarah and Martha. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 4 in December 1771 in Berry Brow. Her burial was on December 16th, 1771 in Almondbury.¹¹
