James Crook

James was born in May 1742 in Darcy Lever and his baptism took place on May 30th, 1742 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Birth Notes

James' father was John Crook and his mother was Margaret Sharples. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Crook and Alice Lomax. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, Joshua, Samuel, William and Betty. He was the third oldest of the six children.
