Betty Crook

Betty was born in May 1738 in Darcy Lever and her baptism took place on May 22nd, 1738 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Betty's father was John Crook and her mother was Margaret Sharples. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Crook and Alice Lomax. She had five brothers named John, James, Joshua, Samuel and William. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 33 in September 1771 in Darcy Lever. Her burial was on September 8th, 1771 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²
