Lily was born on July 31st, 1912 in Darcy Lever.¹

Birth Notes

Lily's father was Ben Buckley and her mother was Bertha Warburton. Her paternal grandparents were William Buckley and Ann Pollitt (Greenhalgh). She had a brother and two sisters, named Ronald, Gladys and Rosamond. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 74 in February 1987 in Salford.²
