Margaret was born on February 8th, 1877 in Blackburn and her baptism took place there on April 19th, 1887.¹

Birth Notes

Margaret's father was Edward Brown and her mother was Margaret Brereton. Her maternal grandparents were Abraham Brereton and Ann Orrett. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Adam, Edward, Mary, Agnes and Sarah. She was the second youngest of the seven children.
