William Brereton

William was born in September 1845 in Weston (near Crew).¹

William's father was William Brereton and his mother was Elizabeth Brockley.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Mary Buckley. He had a brother and four sisters, named Samuel, Margaret, Mary, Hannah and Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 75 on May 13th, 1921 in Crewe.²
