Mary Brereton

Mary's father was James Brereton and her mother was Hannah Morrey.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Brereton and Jane Whittingham. She had six brothers and two sisters, named James, Thomas, John, George, William, Daniel, Elizabeth and Ann.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 65 in March 1873 in Staffordshire.  She was buried on January 19th, 1873 in Burslem.²
