John Brereton

John's father was John Brereton and his mother was Mary Brassington.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Brereton and Jane Whittingham. He had four brothers and three sisters, named George, Thomas, Samuel, William, Ann, Mary and Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 73 on March 14th, 1892.
