John was born on February 16th, 1878.  John's father was Edward Bennett and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Wood.  His paternal grandparents were Cap John Bennett and Jane Roberts. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Edward, Benjamin, Mark, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Jane, Jane, Hattie, Gladys and Emma.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 88 on March 18th, 1966.



John's family with Susan Ashby

‌John and Susan were married in a religious ceremony on September 18th, 1901 in Utah (UT).1  They had two sons and three daughters, named Ned, Jess, Barta, LaPreal and Lena.  There are no more children.
