He may have died at Preston in 1902, aged 42 or Manchester in 1907, aged 46, but both are unlikely!

23 Apr 1886, Richard Barlow (25), son of James Barlow married Alice Seddon (21) daughter of James Seddon at St Matthew, Halliwell (and lived in Little Bolton).
NOTE:There are several BARLOW+SEDDON marriages (Lorenzo Barlow and Mary A Seddon married in 1887 at St Peter, Halliwell and had children including Lorence baptised Halliwell). Richard and Alice had their 6 girls and James registered in Little Bolton.
In 1901, Richard and Alice (41 & 36) were at 109 Kay Street with Eliza (14), Lily (9), Ada (6), and Hannah (2)
In 1911, Richard had died and Alice (46) was with Eliza Ann (24), Lily (19), Ada (16) and Hannah (12).
