Sarah Bailey

Sarah was born in 1849 in Middleton and her baptism took place on February 25th, 1849 at St. Leonard (Middleton).¹²

Sarah's father was Thomas Bailey and her mother was Hannah Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel (Nathan) Mather and Alice Brooks. She had a brother and a sister, named James and Alice. She was the oldest of the three children.
