Reuben Ashcroft

Reuben was born in September 1870 in Bolton.¹

Reuben's father was Thomas Ashcroft and his mother was Mary Davenport.  His paternal grandparents were James Ashcroft and Mary Longworth. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Walter, Henry, Thomas, Gertrude and Beatrice.  He was the third oldest of the eight known children.  He died at the age of 3 in June 1874 in Bolton.¹
