Gladys was born on October 14th, 1885 in Utah (UT).¹ Gladys' father was Edward James Arthur and her mother was Catherine Bennett. Her maternal grandparents were Cap John Bennett and Jane Roberts. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Edward, John, Irvin, Benjamin, Catherine, Jane, Marrian, Margeret, Eleanor and Emily. She was the third youngest of the eleven known children. She died at the age of 17 on December 2nd, 1902.
