Benjamin was born on December 26th, 1889. Benjamin's father was Edward James Arthur and his mother was Catherine Bennett. His maternal grandparents were Cap John Bennett and Jane Roberts. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Edward, John, Irvin, Catherine, Jane, Marrian, Margeret, Eleanor, Gladys and Emily. He was the youngest of the eleven known children. He died at 4 months old on April 26th, 1890.
