Catherine was born in 1850 in Wepre.1  Catherine's father was Cap John Bennett and her mother was Jane Roberts.  Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bennett and Catherine Jones; her maternal grandparents were Edward Roberts and Elizabeth Jones. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin, Edward, Samuel, John, Jonathan, William, Elizabeth, Mary, Jane and Emmaline.  She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 39 on December 26th, 1889 in Utah (UT).2
