William Allen

William was born in 1821 in Little Bolton.¹

William's father was Thomas Allen and his mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Critchley. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Richard, John, Rebecca and Elizabeth.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 53 in 1874 in Halliwell.²
