28 Oct 1816, Thomas Allen (30) married Betty Critchley (24) at Eccles St Mary. Isaac Holt was witness.
In 1841, Thomas and Elizabeth (50 & 40) were in Lane Ends, Haulgh. Thomas and his sons Thomas (20) and William (18) were Tailor Journeyman. He also had Rebecca (16), Richard (14), Elizabeth (12) and John (10).
In 1851, Thomas and Elizabeth (64 & 54) were at Bath Street, Little Bolton. Thomas and his two sons William (30) and John (19) were tailors.
In 1861, Elizabeth (head, 68) was with her son William (41, a tailor, at Bank House, Halliwell.
In 1871, Elizabeth died in Little Bolton, aged 76
